This list of core values are irrefutable characteristics for our church family. They create filters for how our leaders make decisions in order to facilitate and implement the culture. We desire that all of our staff, leaders, and members exhibit these attributes in their daily lives to the best of their ability, allowing them to influence everything that they do for the glory of God.
LOVE
We love first. Our lives are marked by our love for God, for each other, and for those around us.
FAITH
We have faith in God, faith in people and faith for miracles.
TRANSFORMATION
We believe that the gospel changes everything. Therefore, we are a relevant and progressive church that seeks to see the power of God change and restore every area of people’s lives.
INTEGRITY
We choose to be humble and transparent people who believe in the importance of being the same people in public that we are in private. We believe that we should exemplify Christ in every area of our lives, living in a Godly manner consistent with Scripture (Ephesians 5:27).
GENEROSITY
We believe that God has blessed us to be a blessing to others, no strings attached. The work of the Kingdom requires finances, and that when we give, we are honouring God, recognizing His faithfulness to us, and our dependance on Him for everything (Malachi 3:10). We understand that everything we have come from God - freely we have received, and so freely we give.
SERVICE
The Bible teaches us that the greatest of all is the servant of all (Matthew 23:11). We use our hands to show our hearts. We choose to be active participants in our church family, and in reaching out to our community to show God’s love in practical, tangible ways.
GROWTH
We believe every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God's Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
WORSHIP
God is worthy of everything we can give Him. Worship is a lifestyle, not just an act, so we use our lives, not just our songs, to express God’s worth and our love for Him.
EXCELLENCE
We hold ourselves to a very high standard in our words, appearance and actions. If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing it the best that we can (Colossians 3:23).
DISCIPLINE
We are committed to structure, training and conduct that produces growth. Nothing happens by accident, therefore we live with intention.
